I have been working with knots for many years. As a child, I learned how to make plastic lace lanyard keychains and became obsessed with it. I made hundreds of lanyards, which grew in complexity as I grew in experience.
Years later, I was inspired by a piece of decoration on the wall of a cafe in Dubai. It was a macrame piece. Next time I visited the United States, I ordered some macrame yarn and started learning. It came naturally to me because a lot of it was already familiar from making lanyards. After I finished creating my first set of wall decoration, people already wanted to hire me when they saw it. Since then, I have perfected the quality of my creations and I am now selling more than wall decoration.
